Kershaw Ferrite folding knife. Model # 1557T1B5. A collaboration between Kai-Kershaw Knives and Rick Hinderer. A Rick Hinderer Design. An 8Cr13MoV steel blade with a fine grey blade coating, likely a powder coat or DLC. Black thumb studs, a drop-point design with a releif on top of the blade for choking-up on those intricate, tight jobs. A smooth gray steel body and frame with a frame-lock design for extra sure lock-up and stability.
The handle has a lanyard hole and the knife has a typical high quality stamped Kershaw pocket clip on the frame side. The knife can be left or right hand carry, tip up, and a filler tab is in place on the non-use side of the handle. This model uses independant stand offs rather than a backspacer. All hardware is finished in black. A clean knife for everyday carry. New and unused in-box with pamphlet. Not a high dollar piece but worth every penny. Collection grade.
