Kershaw Flourish assited folding knife 3935B5. A very good knife. Blade steel is 8Cr13MoV. The scales are smooth carbon fiber. There is a 3/4 to-full-length backspacer. A jimped flipper tang with liner lock. This model is large and feels stout in-hand, weighing in at 5.4 ounces on our scale, but is relatively thin and smooth, fitting nicely in your grip. Compared to our Benchmade Osborne - Carbon Fiber knife that weighed in at only 2.4 ounces, this is a force to recon with.
The assisted blade is substantial with a drop point design and a sharp hollow-grind cut. The blade has jimping on top for your thumb. This knife is ambidextrous with dual clip positions for left or right side tip-up carry. There is a lanyard hole at the back of the knife. This Kai knife is made for Kershaw in China. A great value collaboration between Kai, the same company that owns and makes Kershaw, Zero Tolerance, and other knives in Tualatin, Oregon, United States. The handle is about 5" long, the blade is about 3 1/2" long. Overall length is at about 8 1/2". This knife is an excellent choice for every day carry or to collect as this specimen is new-in-box and unused, with the original pamphlet. The dollar value is hard to beat.
