Here we have the Spyderco Vallotton folding knife. A well balanced knife, full-size, sub-hilt liner-lock, A drop-point blade in CPM-S30V powdered super steel. This is the larger, full-size version of this knife, not the "lil" one.

A very thick blade in a folding knife. It checks all the boxes and is a nice departure from the steriotypical, and fantastic, flat Spyderco models. This is a collaboration between Spyderco and Butch Vallotton and knife collectors love them.

The Spyderco Vallotton, can be found in a couple variants. This variant, an authentic Spyderco, made in Taiwan for Spyderco, as many of their knives are, with the CPM-S30V steel is a great find.

If you have ever held or used the Spyderco Vallotton you know they are a large, attractive, quality-made, tough, functional knife, and a conversation piece to be proud of. The polished black G10 handle fits nicely in-hand, it looks classic. The stainless steel bolsters and accent set this Spyderco Vallotton knife off in the looks department. It has a matching 3/4-to-full-length backspacer and weighs-in at a stout 6.20 ounces on our scale.

The sub-hilt style liner lock is unique and a welcome variation from the normal liner lock style. The Spyderco Vallotton features large thumb hole, and the thumb studs / stop pins, make opening and closing a pleasure, The positive lock-up is visible in the pictures as well.
