The ZT0393GLCF is a collaboration between Rick Hinderer and Zero Tolerance Knives. A Rick Hinderer Design. This is a flipper knife with a framelock and Glow-in-the-dark Carbon Fiber scales.
A stainless CPM 20CV powdered steel (Super Steel) Spearpoint-tanto or "Spanto" type design blade
Titanium frame and lock with a lock guard insert. Standard Black pivot, black filler tab, stand offs and screws. KVT Bearings. The clip, filler tab and pivot all have some signs of wear.
It weighs-in at 5.2 ounces. The knife is 4 3/4 " closed. The blade is over 3 1/2 inches long. Well balanced knife. The action is spot-on with a perfect detent that enables the blade to snap open and positively slam-lock into position. It sounds great! Closing the knife is equally satifying and the blade falls into place.
The blade looks to have been sharpened and is very sharp. We see a small mark on the edge near the tip that should be dressed.
This is a nice example of this model. A good looking knife in any collection with one of the most desirable blade steels on the market. CPM 20CV powdered steel is americas answer to Bohler M390 steel.
